Home

I am investigating the concept of home in an attempt to explore the remembered or imagined place of beginning and returning. I have used archetypal elements of American architecture—the peaked roof, the picket fence, shutters, etc. that emphasize the sought after feelings of stability and safety that homes are thought to provide.

These “homes” are not photographed in a straightforward way. They are presented through a lens of memory and longing.
